The Assistant Executive Engineer exercises delegated powers and responsibilities specified below:
- Execution of mega projects under guidance of Government Secretaries, PRED.
- Technical guidelines issued by Chief Engineer, PRED, Bengaluru.
- Implementation of Gram Panchayat action plan works across sub-division jurisdiction.
- Field inspection and technical quality check of all civil works within sub-division.
- Representing the sub-division with detailed reports in review meetings convened by Government Secretaries, Chief Engineer, Superintending Engineer, and Executive Engineer.
- Decision making on administrative and operational matters at sub-division level.
